Ajay In A Nutshell

Ajay is an
Extremely-
Exuberant-
Extrovert
and an
Endlessly
 Eloquent
Entertainer!

Side note:
Where are all our recent pictures?  Digging them out of cyber space (a.k.a. Chris' MacBook)
Until then, flashbacks of the last year few months to follow...

Something New

Something has changed. The weather?  Maybe. But this goes deeper than the snow we were standing in for the past nine three months solid.

I would like to summarize our new things and then expound on them here for near future posts, however it would be of benefit to simply skip the summary and get right to the good stuff.

Inspiration has bubbled up from looking back through some older posts here on this blog.  It brought tears to my eyes seeing the growth in our boys. How quickly they change when you can flash through the photos from month to month.

One click, Ajay looks so young and babyish.  The next few clicks and he's four!  A few other clicks and, Zakary is in the womb (such wonder in that concept we could stay there for a long while) and then there he is with his generous, toothless smile (and you all know he cut six more teeth in one month just recently with two more on the way).

Whoa, how time has gone by!
Time went right out that door and I was holding the door open for it.

Time doesn't actually fly.
If you think about it, time is relative.
Some relatives we like.
Some relatives we would prefer to not be conscious of.
Where is this thought leading?  I actually don't know.
But read on, please.

I must admit, these several months with the family have been less than intentional.  Distracted, distressed, overwhelmed I have been...with what?  A couple of rambunctious boys and poor planning? The longest, coldest, kept-us-inside-for-weeks-on-end winter I can remember? The balancing act has been waaaay off kilter?
And you know what?
I'm not going to let my circumstances dictate my intentions and attention to my blessed family. No.  It's not fair to my family of myself.  There's too much to be gained from being in the moment.  Being present, not just in body, but in mind.  The laundry can wait.  The menu can wait (What menu? Chris would ask).
This family...they are worth every second.
All of the seconds in all of time.
Yes, they are so worthy.

Something new happened in me just recently...a revelation took root.
It's always been there, I just didn't take ahold of it.

Instead of receiving and taking dread and grumpiness when I awake,
I receive and take blessing upon our household and children!

This keeps coming up.  Chris started it.  We've started speaking this declaration at the start of every day:

"I am expecting my greatest blessing from the Lord EVER, TODAY, because Great Grace is upon us all!"

You can have some too.
Great Grace is a gift!

That's worth shouting about!  Although, I wouldn't recommend it here because it's midnight.  What am I doing up?  This IS something new! (not really...)

Thank you for your endless support and encouragement, sweet family and friends! See you here again soon!

Late Summer Days

*Shoulder rides and roller skates, endless building and creating, long afternoon naps*

*Four wheeler rides (picked up on roadside with "free" sign attached. Free summer vehicle with wheels and steering?  Yes, thank you!), curiosity, discovery, and did someone say more teeth?*

*Hanging out in the "gym" learning to walk, getting cuter and creamier every.single.moment.*

 * Running through the sprinkles with a useful froggy friend, "Airing out" while driving the lawn mower (notice the foot on the accelerator), watching the lightning out our front window, learning to play together*

Life is beautiful with these boys.

Changing It Up

I will do a post.  I promise.  I'm just, well, full of excuses and wondering what it's like to sleep.
Zakary cut seven teeth in one month.  The eighth tooth will cut in a day or two.
So here's something for all you faithful friends to look at while you wait for A) The blog header to be updated and B) The posting frequency to recommence.  Thanks for hounding  asking me about my next post!

Unedited and unordered, but pretty adorable, if I do say so myself!
