Swooning

Over our sweethearted boy...

Over the tiny hand gripping to my finger...

Over those long, straight, thick giraffe-lashes...

Over his need for adventure...

Over those perfectly placed dimples...

Over those dark pools of greenish brown...

Over his big boy stance...

Over his depth...

Over his motor sounds...

Over his curiosity...

Over his inherent joy for all things old and new...

Something New

This past month has been filled with wonderful surprises and discoveries.

To us, it seems that Ajay does or says something new everyday.

Our baby has been learning and growing at an astounding rate.

Everyday, he practices walking and talking.

He has been asserting his independence

and has been developing even more facial expressions.

When I was looking through the photos I wanted to upload for this post, I saw that so many were out of focus and thought they wouldn't be good blog pics, since I try to share only the best here.

Then I reminded myself that this is a time of constant motion.

There's no reason for me to edit those photos out, because that is not the way things are right now:

When enough is enough, I can tell, but when he plays hard, he sleeps hard.

At least he did today.

Tomorrow, it will be something new.

These Days

These days, our little family has been keeping on its toes following Ajay around while he's on his adventures.

These days, our little house feels even smaller than it really is since we are still waiting for a break in the frigid cold temperatures to enjoy our yard again. When we do go outside, Ajay loves breathing in the icy air...through his front teeth.

These days, our little boy is very content to play on his own (especially to take care of his business). I must say, during those quiet observations, his personality speaks loudly and touches my heart deeply.

These days, our little baby is growing quickly and right before our eyes (just like you all said he would)!

These days have been filled with exploring, discovering, playing, hugging, imitating, waving, blowing kisses, standing, crawling [at light speed], clapping, stepping, dead-lifting objects, squatting, cuddling, nursing, reading, joking, babbling and...
